Introduction

A construction contract is between the head Client and the main contractor.

There will be several components to a construction contract:

• Contract document
• Architects drawings
• Architects specification
• Structural drawings and specifications
• Services drawings and specifications
• Pricing document – bill of quantities
• Signed form of tender
• Construction program

These are referred to as contract documents.
